- Hello everyone, my guest today, an unknown musician until now - GoreCxR! I'll begin my interview with a boring question, ok? Tell us a little bit about the history of CxRxCxHxRxDxN?
- A history of CxRxCxHxRxDxN begins in the end of summer 2024. At that time, I was still playing in a local goregrind band called FxCxLx. I made first demo release with friend, and it sounded more like LDOH than the sound I'm used to now. He played bass, while I performed drums and vocal. We released some demos and he left the band. So, now CxRxCxHxRxDxN is one-man band.
- What does the name of your band mean, is it related to the fact that the theme of all your releases - sharks?
- Yeah, we were hanging out at my house one day, going through old CDs, and my friend looked at one of the "Phyllomedusa's" releases and said, "Fuck, how cool is this, I want to play something as similar as possible"! However, we were not attracted to the theme of frogs, so they became sharks. In fact, can we say that it happened by accident? So,CxRxCxHxRxDxN is a carcharodon (white shark).
- which bands were you inspired by?
- First of all, such "giants" as "Menometrorrhagia", "Anal Birth" or "UxTxIxFxSxPxCx" (Urinary Tract Infection From Severe Pus Clots). I can't say that I'm a pioneer of this genre (I've seen a bunch of bands playing in a similar style). But I'll assume that CxRxCxHxRxDxN could play brutal-harsh-gorenoise (heh-heh)
- "brutal-harsh-gorenoise" - sounds sick. Haha, but still about the style of your band. You completely abandoned guitars and real drums, why? And... also your strange vocal style, how do you manage to achieve such a sound?
- My goal is to play extreme and unusual music. I decided to completely abandon heavy riffs, preferring the bass guitar (as in SPASM) in order to create the most direct noise sound, along with a 200-500 percussion per minute drum machine. Regarding the vocals, haha, dude, it's gargling (really) w
ith a huge amount of pitch shifter.
ith a huge amount of pitch shifter.
- Does the group have some kind of ideological concept?
- Hmm, probably not, I'm just trying to have fun! My music can look like the ravings of a stoned guy, and I like it! Just relax and imagine that you live in a world where sharks convey their hatred through music, hehe!
- What are your plans for the future of CxRxCxHxRxDxN? Are you planning to give live performances?
- Probably not, because I don't think it's serious. I have fun when I compose music, and I hope the people who hear it like it too? I'm trying to release singles now, but maybe a full-length album will be released in the future? However, there are plans for a couple of splits with other gorenoise bands.
- Have you thought about releasing a cassette and CDs?
- I've been thinking about it, but it seems to me that it would be better to release them in some kind of "grind" compilation of several labels. Maybe it could bring me more fans?
- Ok,thank you for a great interview!
- Thank you, man!
